Built to help people see the value in the work they already do.
Phaseturn exists because too many capable people describe themselves only through their current industry label. The product is designed to surface the transferable skills, patterns, and signals already present in their experience and turn those into credible next moves.
The product is being developed by Chris Mitre as a focused career transition platform.
Why it exists
Career change is often framed in the least helpful possible way.
Most career transition advice assumes people need to reinvent themselves, rebrand aggressively, or throw out the past. Phaseturn takes the opposite view. The starting point should be the actual work you have already done, the scope you have handled, the systems you have run, and the decisions you have made under pressure.
That is the evidence base. Once that is clear, career moves become easier to evaluate because the conversation shifts from identity to transferable value.
Built for
Serious career moves
Phaseturn is being built as a serious product for people trying to make a credible career move, not as a generic personality quiz.
The focus is narrow by design: help people translate what their current work already proves.
What the product is built to do
- Start with real work, responsibilities, and patterns instead of vague personality labels.
- Use dynamic follow-up questions to uncover stronger signals in the answers people already give.
- Help people see career paths they may never have considered because they were describing themselves too narrowly.
What is live now
The public site is currently focused on the waitlist and the content layer around transferable skills and credible career moves. The goal is to build a useful, honest surface now while the deeper assessment product continues to mature.
